This site is a tribute to Ian Garwood, who was born on September 24th, 1957. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his family and his many friends and colleagues.

Ian and I were friends back around 1975. We were at college together, and lost touch soon after. It was only by chance I sadly learned of his premature passing. From what I have read, Ian led a rich and full life, clearly meaning a great deal to many people. Its as much as any of us can ask for. It is easy to say now, but when as young men we fell of motorbikes together, I knew he would do well. I regret seeking him out years ago. Ian was above all else a decent human being.

Soon be that time again my friend, you stopped counting I guess. Hardly seems like 7 years until things get hard and I need a friend then it feels like an eternity. Miss you.
